OH&S focussed
We employ in-house Occupational Health and Safety Specialists to coordinate our operations on mine sites, control visitor access, supervise decommisioning and to provide Plant Hazard Reports, where applicable, in accordance with relevant State and Federal legislation, to minimize any possible exposure to vendors and site owners.
Environment
We partner with recycling specialists to ensure best practice waste and scrap disposals.
Notable sale projects include
Kidston Gold Mine
7 million tpa. Gold Treatment Plant – entire disposal project following completion of mining operations. We implemented a highly successful two stage marketing and sale campaign combining private treaty sales to Australian and South African operators, followed by a four day auction sale, resulting in a total clearance of the site. Assets included Crushing and Screening Plant; SAG and Ball Mills; 7 million tpa CIP Process Plant; Open Cut Mining Fleet; 344 Man Mine Camp; Assay Laboratory, Mine admin equipment and buildings
Selwyn Copper / Gold Mines
Grays Mining sold the entire mining operation, including: 2 million tpa flotation and CIL process plant, Power Station; Crushing and Screening; Underground Mining Fleet; Light Vehicles and Mobile Plant; 250 Man Camp. Strict OH&S guidelines were enforced for the dismantling and removal of the plant, resulting in no reportable incidents.
Mount Todd Gold Mine
On behalf of insolvency practitioners, Grays Mining valued and project managed the sale and removal of the entire assets, including primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary crushing comprising 25 Crushers; 3 x 5600kW Ball Mills; 8 million tpa CIL Plant; Flotation Plant; Laboratory; Buildings, Light Vehicles and Mobile Plant
Mount Leyshon Gold Mine
Following completion of mining Grays Mining project managed sale and removal of entire assets including a 5.5 million tpa CIP Plant; Crushing and Screening; 3 x 2500kW Ball Mills; $2m stores; Buildings; Light Vehicles and Mobile Fleet.
Twin Hills Gold Mine
Entire mining operation sold including underground fleet, vent fans and electrics, labs, workshops and buildings
